Loxterkamp, David
Dr. Loxterkamp was adopted as a baby by a doctor and a nurse and raised in north-western Iowa, USA. He is now a general practitioner in coastal Maine.
He has published a number of articles in the professional, literary and religious press and in April 1997 his first book, A Measure of My Days: The Journal of a Country Doctor, was published. In addition to his professional practice he is on the local school board and an active Roman Catholic.
He has no wish to trace his birth family.
